For horror fans or partiers: New dining experiences debut at Area15
Two nightlife spots at Area15 are debuting dining experiences this week. One, a horror movie and dinner pairing, and the other an addition to the ever-expanding programming at the cocktail/theater experience Oddyssey Manor.
Universal Horror Unleashed
The dinner-and-a-movie experience called “Food, Film, Frights” invites moviegoers every Saturday and Sunday in May, beginning May 9, at 8:30 p.m.
For $65, guests will see a secret horror flick screened in the Premiere House and enjoy a four-course prix fixe menu. A la carte beverages will be available, and the meal will be themed to the film. Classic theater snacks like popcorn and gummy worms, as well as cocktails, will be offered, as well.
Walk-up guests can be accommodated based on availability, but reservations are encouraged.
Universal Horror Unleashed opened last fall, offering a year-round haunted experience for the spooky and Halloween-obsessed. The standard ticket to enjoy all experiences is $59 per person.
Oddyssey Manor
Every Thursday through Sunday evening, enjoy “The Taster” for $49 per person at Oddyssey Manor, which includes a reservation and access to “linger as long as desired.”
With the option, guests get five one-ounce specialty cocktails or mocktails to taste, as well as Friday or Saturday access to Oddyssey Noir, an after-dark party. Additional beverages and small bites are available for purchase.
For $79, you get the same experience with two full-sized cocktails or mocktails.
Editor’s note: This story previously described the Ultimate Party Guest package at Oddyssey Manor, which is no longer offered.
