WWE World
In conjunction with WrestleMania 42, the fan festival known as WWE World has returned. Expect memorabilia, meet-and-greets, live matches, panels and the WrestleMania Superstore. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall. Earth Day
On Saturday, swing by Springs Preserve to celebrate Earth Day. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the nature preserve’s event will feature hands-on activities for kids, conservation exhibits, green industry exhibitors and local food truck options for purchase. The family-friendly event is hosted by the Youth Conservation Council, a high school community service program.
Chalk It Down!
As part of the third annual Chalk It Down! Festival, 60 artists sponsored by neighborhood businesses will chalk the sidewalks with their interpretation of the year’s theme: “The heARTS District.” Activities at the family-friendly festival will include an area for attendees to make their own chalk art, a kids zone, food, drinks and local vendors. A partnership with Market in the Alley will include more than 50 local vendors. It’s scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday throughout the Arts District. Admission is free.
Reggae in the Desert
It’ll be just like getting strapped to an anvil and then plunged into an ocean of good vibes when Reggae in the Desert returns for Year 23 of celebrating Caribbean culture with island-inspired food and craft vendors as well as performances from Steel Pulse, Collie Buddz, Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid and others at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater, 500 S. Black Label dinner
On Saturday, Lilli by Chef Tyler Vorce is presenting its Black Label dinner, a seven-course tasting menu built around Spanish black truffle, Regiis Ova caviar and American wagyu beef. Underground anniversary
From 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, The Underground speakeasy at the Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Ave., is celebrating its eighth anniversary with live jazz in the speakeasy and the open-air Starlight Plaza. A highly regarded San Diego bar whose recognition includes being named among the best bars in America by Esquire and the top 50 bars in North America by World’s 50 Best, Raised by Wolves is popping up Tuesday at Nocturno, 1017 S. First St., Suite 180, in downtown Las Vegas. The 90-minute experience features four cocktails from the Raised by Wolves spring menu paired with bites from the Nocturno kitchen. Cost: $120. Giant Student Farmers Market
More than 600 student farmers will sell herbs, fruits and vegetables from their school gardens during the semiannual Giant Student Farmers Market. Organized by Green Our Planet, a local nonprofit that helps schools across the valley with their teaching gardens. It’s scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin. Admission is free.
