Trio of headliners revealed for ACM Awards on the Strip

The Academy of Country Music Awards show has called on its first triple shot of stars in its return to the Las Vegas Strip.

Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson and Riley Green are set to appear in the show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The 61st ACM Awards show will stream live on Prime Video at 5 p.m. Pacific time May 17.

Fans can also catch the broadcast on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music app.

Wilson is the 2025 ACM Entertainer of the Year and 16-time ACM Award winner. She will premiere her new single “Can’t Sit Still.”

She played T-Mobile Arena on Dec. 7 on her “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” production, alongside the National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The ever-rising artist ascended from music clubs and honky-tonks to arena-headlining strata in 2024. She ended the year playing the MGM Grand Garden during the NFR. Her “Bell Bottom Country” release won the 2024 Grammy for Best Country Album.

Johnson plays this year’s show following his ACM Song of the Year award in ’25 for “Dirt Cheap.”

Green, is a four-time ACM Award winner and the headliner for ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green, the May 15 show set for Topgolf at the MGM Grand.

ACM Awards week will also include the ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash at Mandalay Bay Beach on May 16.
