PKWY TAVERN TAPHOUSE AND GRILL, 9820 W. FLAMINGO ROAD

PKWY Tavern Taphouse and Grill, which opened in mid-April, is a locals-driven restaurant and bar that specializes in American comfort food. It’s from local businessman Jonathan Fine, owner of Strip restaurant/bars PBR Rock Bar &Grill at the Miracle Mile Shops and Rockhouse at The Grand Canal Shoppes. PKWY Tavern has classic video games and board games indoors and cornhole, shuffleboard and beer pong on the outdoor patio. It’s decorated with traffic signs, a theme that extends to its loyalty club, TEAM (Taphouse Exclusive Active Member), whose top members will have their names emblazoned on signs. Here’s a sample of the menu:

Breakfast: French toast, $7.95; short stack, $6.95; breakfast skins, $8.95; smoked prime rib and eggs, $17.95.
